Latin Inspired Red Chile Jackfruit “Carnitas” have a distinctive meat- like texture. They are prepared with a robust blend of spices, chili peppers and savory vegetables.

Claims: Vegan, Gluten Free, Cholesterol Free.
Typical sauces / Toppings / spices: Pivotal Foods Crema Style Sour Cream or Green Piquant Sauce

Reheating and cooking instruction options:

  1. Red Chili may be reheated in the pouch, in medium boil until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
  2. Defrost product, spread out on greased sheet pan, lightly spray with choice of liquid oil (olive, canola or vegetable oil) bake 365 degrees until lightly browned, approx. 20-30 minutes (depending on oven)
  3. Pan-frying; defrost product, remove from packaging. Add choice of oil; coconut, olive, vegetable or canola oil –sautéJackfruit on medium high heatstirring occasionally. Cook until lightly browned or crispy to taste, approx. 8 -12 minutes.


Shelf life frozen or fresh: Frozen up to 1 year.
